Site Engineer - Sizewell C

We are recruiting a Site Engineer to join a major UK infrastructure project at Sizewell C, one of the country s flagship nuclear and heavy civils schemes. This role offers the chance to work within a Tier 1 delivery environment on complex temporary works and general civils packages, contributing to a long-term, high-profile programme. Key Responsibilities
  • Setting out and surveying for a range of heavy civils and temporary works packages
  • Managing and coordinating temporary works designs and installations
  • Ensuring works are delivered in line with technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards
  • Supporting site teams with method statements, risk assessments, and technical queries
  • Liaising with subcontractors, designers, and site management teams
  • Monitoring progress and contributing to programme delivery
  • Maintaining robust QA documentation and site records
Requirements
  • Experience working as a Site Engineer / Senior Engineer / Setting Out Engineer
  • Strong background in general civils and/or temporary works
  • Previous experience on major infrastructure projects (e.g. nuclear, highways, rail, or large-scale civils schemes)
  • Competent in setting out using total station and GPS equipment
  • Understanding of temporary works procedures and coordination
  • Familiar with QA processes and site documentation
