Job Description

Apex Resources Ltd urgently require several general factory operators/trainee machine operators for their prestigious manufacturing client in Port Glasgow, Inverclyde. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting production processes, ensuring quality standards are met, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with an interest in manufacturing and hands-on work within a dynamic factory setting.

Duties

• Operate various mechanical and manual machines to assist in assembly and production tasks
• Assist with the assembly of components according to specifications and quality standards
• Conduct routine inspections of products during the manufacturing process
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area to ensure safety and efficiency
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times to minimise risks within the factory environment
• Previous factory or manufacturing experience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
• Mechanical knowledge or experience working with machines is advantageous
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Good organisational skills with attention to detail
• Physical fitness to perform manual handling tasks
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills for following instructions and recording data

Hours of work:

Monday to Thursday 7:15am-5.30pm
