Hales Group are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a well established business in Lowestoft. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands on, varied role and wants to be part of a small, friendly and supportive team.
You will play a key part in ensuring the warehouse runs smoothly, supporting production targets, and contributing to the overall performance of the business.
Key Responsibilities - Picking and packing to support daily production
- Manual handling and lifting throughout the shift
- Goods in/out handling
- Operating FLT counterbalance trucks (up to 2500kg)
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Supporting continuous improvement across the site
To be considered for the role of Warehouse Operative you will need: - An up to date FLT Counterbalance Licence (up to 2500kg)
- Physically fit and comfortable with regular manual lifting
- A positive, can do attitude and willingness to be a team player
- A strong focus on safety in every process
- Agile, adaptable, and willing to learn new processes
- Keen to contribute to continuous improvement across the site
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently when required
Location: Lowestoft, Suffolk
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Hours: 8am 4pm (initial core hours). Once permanent: rotating shifts (6am 2pm / 2pm 10pm)
