Graduate Teaching Assistant

Location: Hackney

Salary: £95-£115 per day

Start Date: September 2026

Contract: Full Time | Term Time Only

Tradewind Recruitment are working with a number of successful secondary schools in Hackney seeking enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistants to support learning across a range of subjects.

This role offers excellent classroom experience before teacher training.

The Role

You will:

Support teaching and learning across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Deliver small group interventions.

Provide one-to-one academic support.

Assist students with classroom activities.

Help prepare learning resources.

Encourage student engagement and confidence.

The Ideal Candidate

You will:

Hold a degree.

Be enthusiastic about education.

Have excellent communication skills.

Be confident working with young people.

Be reliable, proactive and adaptable.

Have experience working with young people (desirable but not essential).
