Job Title: Sports Coach

Salary: £95 - £105 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming 2 form entry mainstream Primary School based in Newham, who are looking to appoint a Sports Coach. The school promotes an inclusive and active learning environment, encouraging pupils to build confidence, teamwork and resilience both inside and outside of the classroom.

The school is looking to take on a dedicated Sports Coach from September on a long-term basis. The successful Sports Coach will be working across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2, supporting with PE delivery, classroom support and after school activities, while helping pupils stay engaged, motivated and ready to learn.

The successful Sports Coach will have:

A sports coaching qualification or relevant experience working with children
Experience supporting pupils in a primary school or coaching setting
Confidence delivering PE sessions or supporting physical activities
Strong behaviour management and communication skills
The ability to support learning within the classroom when required
A positive, energetic and proactive approach
