We’re working with specialist schools across Leeds & Wakefield looking for Psychology graduates who are calm, curious, resilient, and ready to make a genuine difference.

£93–£118 per day

Full-time 5 Days a week in term time...

What the role actually looks like

This isn’t sitting behind a desk analysing case studies.

It’s hands-on experience supporting children and young people with:

• SEMH needs

• Autism and ADHD

• Behavioural challenges

• Trauma-informed support

• Additional learning needs

You’ll work in specialist schools, SEND settings, and alternative provisions, helping students regulate emotions, rebuild confidence, and reconnect with learning.

The day-to-day?

✔️ Building trust with students who need consistency

✔️ Supporting emotional regulation and communication

✔️ Using psychology in real, practical situations

✔️ Becoming the reason a student feels safe, seen, and supported

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
