Key Responsibilities
An award-winning strategic communications consultancy is seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic Account Manager or Senior Account Manager to join their growing team. The firm operates across sectors including financial services, energy, healthcare, transport, and education, offering integrated services in the organisation affairs, corporate communications, digital, research, and creative solutions. This is a fantastic opportunity for a the organisation affairs or communications professional to lead impactful campaigns, support high-profile clients, and contribute to business development within a dynamic, people-first environment.
• Deliver creative, integrated strategic communications campaigns tailored to multi-stakeholder audiences
• Interpret and clearly communicate complex policy, regulatory and commercial issues
• Manage client accounts, ensuring timely, budget-conscious and high-quality delivery
• Provide insights and solutions to clients’ reputational and policy challenges
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure alignment across communication channels
• Support business development initiatives, including proposals and pitch presentations
• Build and maintain strong client relationships with a focus on responsiveness and results
• Contribute to internal culture and collaborative team ethos
The organisation Affairs Account Manager Key Requirements
• Strong experience in the organisation affairs or strategic communications, ideally within an agency environment
• Knowledge of the UK government, policy landscape, and media, especially in financial services
• Proven ability to develop and implement communications strategies that achieve tangible outcomes
• Skilled in writing and presenting complex information in an engaging and accessible way
• Highly organised project manager with the ability to juggle multiple workstreams
• A proactive and solutions-driven mindset with excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and a collaborative team player
• Curious, ambitious, and committed to personal and professional growth
