About the role:
Teaching Personnel are proud to be recruiting a Student Support Officer for one of our partnership schools in Newport. The Student Support Officer will work within the inclusion team and work towards the school's behaviour management strategy. The successful candidate will be required to promote positive behaviour whilst assisting the Student Support Centre with the effective support of behaviour, coordinate appropriate work and provide a calm working environment for students whose behaviour can be challenging. This educator must be confident and have strong behaviour management skills, whilst being impressionable and happy to act as a bridge between pupils and the teaching staff within the school.
