Teaching Assistant - Day to Day/Short Term/Long Term - Location: Cannock - Start Date: September 2026

We are currently seeking experienced Teaching Assistant's to support a variety of schools within Cannock and surrounding areas. The roles are open to day-to-day supply, short-term and longer-term supply roles. You will be working through a trusted, established agency on a temporary basis.

The successful candidates will be open to exploring a range of primary schools supporting with either day-to-day/short-term/long-term roles. You will be working across a variety of key stages depending on your preferences, supporting teachers in creating an education rich, motivating and nurturing classroom environment. Duties as a Teaching Assistant will vary on a day-to-day basis; whether that be through the delivery of lessons, tailoring learning to suit childrens needs and also supporting with small-group interventions when necessary, such as: guided reading, phonics and maths etc. Within the role you may be required to support children with SEN needs, this can be either on a 1:1/small group basis.

• Working for a reputable education agency - Academics.
• Working collaboratively alongside staff, parents and children - ensuring a smooth, pleasant learning experience for all.
• Short-term/long-term and day-to-day cover opportunities working within a variety of Ket Stages within the areas of Penkridge and Stafford.
• Supporting the class teacher with the day-to-day running of the classroom; assisting with learning, interventions and activities.
• The ability to provide both individual and group support - assisting with interventions as necessary.
• Confidence in supporting pupils with SEN needs - this may be on a more 1:1 basis where required.

We are looking for someone who:

• Experience supporting a primary class.
• Obtains a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Certificate (minimum).
• Is a committed Teaching Assistant who feels confident in supporting children; tailoring learning to ensure each child flourishes.
• The ability to support SEN pupils when requested within the classroom; this may be through 1:1 or small group work.
• Holds an Enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain one).
• Available to start ASAP.
• Able to commute to Penkridge and surrounding areas on a daily basis.
• Fully registered to work with Academics.

Pay: £93 - £100 per day, depending on experience and assignment. Holiday pay is included in the daily rate.
