Manufacturing Operative

Location: Loughborough

Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour

Contract: Temporary (until early September, with the possibility of an extension)

The Recruitment Group is recruiting on behalf of our client for a Temporary All-Round Manufacturing Operative to join a well-established, family-run manufacturing business based in Loughborough. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a friendly team in a busy and growing company that has been successfully operating for over 25 years.

Key Responsibilities

. Cutting and punching copper components.
. Mechanical assembly of LV switchgear.
. Using circular saws and hand tools safely and effectively.
. Measuring and cutting materials accurately.
. Supporting with additional manufacturing duties as required.
. Maintaining high standards of health and safety at all times.

What We're Looking For

The successful candidate will have:

. An interest in mechanical assembly and manufacturing.
. Confidence using a circular saw.
. The ability to measure and cut materials with precision.
. Experience using hand tools and assembly techniques.
. A strong commitment to health and safety.
. Flexibility to work overtime during the week and most Saturday mornings when required.

What's on Offer

. £13.00 per hour.
. Temporary role until early September, with the potential for an extension.
. Monday to Thursday: 7:00am - 4:00pm
. Friday: 7:00am - 1:30pm
. Overtime available, including Saturday mornings.
