Engage Education are currently working with an outstanding secondary school in the Manchester area who are eager to secure a fantastic Teacher of History in a long-term MAT cover capacity beginning in September 2026.

The school are open to both ECTs and experienced teachers, and have placed an impetus on securing an individual who is passionate about creating and sustaining strong relationships with students.

Teacher of History – Role Information:

* Planning and conducting KS3 & KS4 History education

* Based within outstanding secondary school with brilliant Humanities team

* Inspiring HOD with commitment to development of staff

* Long-term MAT cover position beginning in September 2026

* Open to both ECTs and experienced teachers – TLR available

Teacher of History – Applicant Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status – Secondary Humanities

* Minimum 2:2 UK or Ireland based degree

* Good or better prior teaching observations

* Engaging and outgoing individual with passion for teaching

* Desire to become prominent fixture in school Humanities department
