Vision for Education is seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to join a charming village primary school in Lancaster, Lancashire. The Role

This Teaching Assistant role in Lancaster, Lancashire will involve supporting teaching and learning within a Year 6 classroom, helping pupils prepare for the transition to secondary school. You will work closely with the class teacher to provide high-quality classroom support, while also delivering targeted interventions and assisting pupils with SEND to ensure they can access learning and reach their full potential.

Support the Year 6 class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.

Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning and improve confidence.

Encourage pupils to develop independence, resilience and a positive attitude towards learning.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant in Lancaster, Lancashire, you will:

Have experience working with primary-aged children, ideally within a school setting.

Be patient, enthusiastic and committed to helping children achieve their potential.

Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Hold, or be willing to obtain, an enhanced DBS check registered to the Update Service.
