Our client, a well-established firm within Manufacturing, based in Stroud, has a new opportunity for a Press Brake Setter to join their team on a temporary basis for an immediate start.

The successful Press Brake Setter should have:
Experience working as a Press Brake Setter.
Experience using Promecam Manual Press machines.
Good attention to detail, reading plans and able to work within tight tolerances.
A good understanding of Health and Safety within the workplace.

In this role, the Press Brake Setter will be responsible for:
Reading and interpreting drawings and plans.
Setting the machines in accordance with plans.
Manually calculate or set bend positions and depths.
Carry out first-off inspections.
Produce accurate work without relying on CNC programming, maintaining quality standards and completing production records.
Carry out routine machine checks and basic maintenance.
