Public Health Design Engineer Contract -

Location: Fully Remote
Rate: £40 £60 per hour, depending on experience

We are recruiting for an experienced Public Health Design Engineer to join a busy building services consultancy on a contract basis.

This is a fully remote role, offering an excellent opportunity for a technically strong engineer with proven experience designing public health systems for commercial building projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and coordination of drainage systems within commercial buildings, working closely with MEP design teams, architects and project stakeholders.

The role will involve producing public health design calculations, layouts, schematics and technical drawings for foul water, waste water, rainwater and drainage systems.

You will be expected to review project information, interpret architectural and structural drawings, coordinate services with other building services disciplines and ensure designs are completed in line with relevant regulations, standards and project requirements.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Public Health Design Engineer, Building Services Design Engineer or similar role within an MEP consultancy or building services contractor.

Applicants must have strong experience designing commercial drainage systems. Experience with foul water, soil and waste, rainwater drainage, below-ground drainage and water services would be highly beneficial.

You should be confident working independently in a remote environment, managing your own workload and delivering accurate design information to agreed deadlines.

Experience using industry-standard design and drawing software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroDrainage, Civils 3D or similar packages would be advantageous.

This is a contract opportunity paying between £40 and £60 per hour, depending on experience.
