Job Description

My Client is one of the largest manufacturers and distributers of desserts and speciality foods in the UK. Based from their manufacturing site in Manchester a verity of fresh and frozen foods to clients across the UK. Based from their manufacturing site in Manchester.

They require a hygiene operative to carry out a variety of duties such as:

Steam cleaning lines/Machines

Taking apart machinery involved in production, cleaning it and then putting it back together.

Cleaning Trays

General maintenance of Hygiene in the production to the highest standards.

This role involves some heavy lifting. Candidates will also be expect to carry out other associated duties as per instructed by the hygiene manager. Candidates will ideally have experience working in a food manufacturing environment and will have prior experience cleaning and working within a hygiene team. The hours of work will be Monday to Friday 20:00-04:00. Must be flexible with working hours as they can change in accordance to business needs.

Smoking is permitted in the designated areas outside the building before work, during LUNCH breaks and after work.
