Role: Receptionist
Location: Huntingdon
Type: Temp/ Temp to Perm
Salary: £13.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

ISQ Recruitment is seeking a professional, organised, and personable Receptionist to join a large and established business based in Huntingdon. This is an excellent opportunity to become the face of a busy site, providing a first-class welcome to visitors while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of reception.

The Opportunity
As Receptionist, you'll be the first point of contact for visitors, contractors, employees, and external stakeholders. You'll play a key role in creating a positive first impression while ensuring the reception function operates efficiently and professionally.
The successful candidate will be confident, approachable, and able to remain professional at all times.
For those looking to expand their skills, there may be opportunities to support additional administrative and people-related tasks in the future.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Welcoming and signing in visitors and contractors
  • Providing a professional and friendly first impression of the business
  • Answering and directing incoming telephone calls
  • Managing meeting room bookings and visitor arrangements
  • Handling incoming and outgoing post and courier collections
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and presentable reception area
  • Monitoring and replenishing reception supplies and stock levels
  • Assisting visitors with general enquiries
  • Supporting colleagues with administrative tasks when required
  • Creating simple posters and communications using Canva
  • Using digital tools and AI solutions to support administrative processes
  • Providing refreshments and assistance to visitors when required

What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience in a Receptionist, Front of House, Customer Service, or Administration role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A professional, smart, and presentable approach
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience using Canva or similar software would be advantageous
  • Ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with a variety of people and situations
  • Friendly, adaptable, and customer-focused attitude
  • Confidence communicating with individuals at all levels
  • A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership of tasks
