Bench Hand Joiner Bradford

Location: Bradford
Salary: £17.00 per hour PAYE
Type: Ongoing Temp Work (with potential for a permanent role)

SWIFT Temps Ltd Engineering Division is recruiting for an experienced Bench Hand Joiner to join an established manufacturer in Bradford

Key Responsibilities:

• Construct and assemble high-quality custom joinery, furniture, and exhibition stands based on technical drawings.
• Perform on-site modifications and adjustments to ensure perfect fit and finish.
• Work on shop-fitting projects and commercial installations.
• Fabricate solid surfaces as required.
• Interpret and work from technical drawings and specifications.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship at all times.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in high-quality bench joinery or furniture making (2 3 years).
• NVQ qualification in joinery, or equivalent experience.
• Exceptional carpentry and joinery skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Solid surface fabrication experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday: 8:00am 4:30pm OR 7:00am to 4:30pm
• Some Saturdays required during busy periods
• Optional shifts available: 7:00am 7:00pm, including weekends if you are wanting extra hours
