Class 2 Refuse Driver

We are currently recruiting for experienced and reliable Class 2 Refuse Drivers to join a busy and well-established waste management operation covering Gloucestershire.

This is an ongoing, full-time opportunity offering consistent work, early starts, and the chance to work within an essential local service.

The Role

As a Class 2 Refuse Driver, you will be responsible for operating a Refuse Collection Vehicle (RCV) and supporting commercial waste and recycling collections across designated routes.

You will play a key part in ensuring waste is collected safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of service.

Key Responsibilities

• Driving a Category C (Class 2) Refuse Collection Vehicle (RCV)
• Collecting commercial waste and recycling from business premises
• Delivering, exchanging, and repositioning bins where required
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and completing relevant paperwork/logs
• Ensuring loads are safely secured and compliant with health & safety standards
• Providing a professional and courteous service to customers
• Working effectively as part of a team to complete daily routes

Requirements

• Valid UK Category C (Class 2) Driving Licence
• Valid Driver CPC qualification
• Valid Digital Tachograph card
• Previous experience with RCVs is desirable but not essential
• A reliable, safety-conscious and professional attitude
• Comfortable with early starts and physically active work
