Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen at a Motor Parts & Accessories Specialist, based in Lincoln. Our client requires 4 warehousing operatives to join their busy team on a temporary ongoing basis. The roles have the potential to go permanent, following a successful probationary period.

The hours of work are 08:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday - 42.5 hours.

The role will include the following duties:
Picking stock via a handheld scanner. The site holds a catalogue of over 90,000 parts and so attention to detail is essential.
Walking to a variety of destinations within the warehouse, over 3 floors and Mezzanines - our candidates will need to cover 20,000 steps daily and so the need to be physically fit.
Unloading of new stock incoming and entering detail onto a computer data- base.
Packing orders ready for despatch, as part of their national distribution centre

The ideal candidate will be:

Self-starting and motivated and often used to taking instruction and working through the tasks alone
Previous experience of working within the Motor Parts Industry would be an advantage

The hourly rate for the role is 12.71 per hour , based on a 42.5 hour week.
