Rate: £24.00 - £26.00 per hour (Dependent on Experience)

Morson Edge are currently recruiting for experienced Steel Fixers on behalf of reputable civils and construction contractors across the North West.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work on major infrastructure and reinforced concrete projects.

Duties:

Reading and interpreting reinforcement drawings

Cutting, bending and fixing steel reinforcement

Installing mesh, cages and prefabricated reinforcement units

Working alongside shuttering carpenters and concrete gangs

Ensuring all work is completed safely and to specification

Maintaining high standards of health and safety on site

Requirements:

Valid CSCS Card

Proven experience as a Steel Fixer

Ability to read and interpret drawings

Own tools and PPE

Strong work ethic and reliability

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable:

Experience on RC Frame or heavy civils projects

SSSTS or SMSTS

CPCS/NPORS plant tickets

Confined Space or EUSR
