Structural Steel Designer Tekla Structures Specialist

Chemical & Water Industry Experience

Leeds/Wakefield

Contract outside IR35 to 45.00 per hour

Permanent to 50,000 per annum plus competitive package on offer.

Full time office based NO hybrid/remote working

Experienced Structural Steel Designer with strong expertise in Tekla Structures, delivering accurate 3D models and detailed fabrication drawings for complex industrial projects. Proven background working within the chemical processing and water treatment sectors, producing practical, buildable steelwork solutions that meet industry standards, project specifications, and client requirements.

Key Strengths:

• Expert in Tekla Structures for 3D modelling and steel detailing
• Extensive structural steel design and detailing experience
• Strong knowledge of chemical plant and water treatment projects
• Production of fabrication and erection drawings
• Coordination with multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Experience with industrial structures, platforms, pipe supports, access steelwork, and process buildings
• Committed to delivering high-quality, accurate, and efficient design solutions from concept through to fabrication
