Are you an analytically strong Risk or Project Controls professional with experience in major capital delivery?
We are seeking an experienced Risk Manager to support the delivery of a major, long-term transformation programme in Stansted. Working as part of an established programme risk team, you will play a key role in driving a proactive risk culture across a complex, high-profile infrastructure environment.
This role is ideal for a commercially aware specialist who excels at facilitating stakeholder workshops, maintaining robust risk registers, and translating complex data into high-quality reporting for senior leadership.
As a Risk Manager, you will coordinate risk management processes across multiple infrastructure workstreams. Your day-to-day will involve:
Workshop Facilitation: Preparing, coordinating, and leading monthly project-level risk workshops with multidisciplinary teams.
Register Management: Maintaining and updating comprehensive programme risk registers and risk management systems to ensure data accuracy.
Analysis & Modelling: Supporting both qualitative and quantitative risk analysis, including risk modelling, scenario analysis, and change impact assessments.
Reporting & Governance: Preparing high-quality risk dashboards, monthly reporting packs, and documentation to support senior stakeholder decision-making.
Culture & Improvement: Promoting a proactive risk culture and contributing to the continuous improvement of tools, templates, and onboarding materials.
A proven track record in Risk Management, Project Controls, or Programme Controls.
Direct experience supporting major infrastructure projects (Aviation, Transport, Utilities, Energy, or major Capital Delivery).
Strong capability in facilitating risk workshops and managing live risk registers.
Excellent communication and reporting skills, with the ability to present clear risk insights to senior stakeholders.
Eligibility to obtain BPSS clearance as a minimum.
Professional qualifications such as APM, IRM, or a relevant degree.
Experience with specialized risk tools (e.g., riskHive, Safran, PRA, ARM, Xactium, ).
Familiarity with QCRA (Quantitative Cost Risk Analysis) and QSRA (Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis).
Knowledge of ISO 31000, APM, or IRM frameworks, or Value Management principles.
