Contract Type: Day-to-day, short-term and long-term assignments
Pay: £98 £120 per day, depending on experience

The Supply Register is proud to be working in partnership with Core Education Trust to recruit confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across Birmingham from September 2026.

We have a variety of flexible opportunities available, including day-to-day supply, short-term cover and longer-term placements. These roles are ideal for experienced Cover Supervisors, graduates considering a career in teaching, or individuals with experience supporting young people in an educational environment.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will oversee classes during the short-term absence of the classroom teacher, ensuring pupils remain focused on the work set while maintaining a positive, well-managed learning environment. Lesson planning and marking are not required.

We're looking for candidates who have:

• Experience working with pupils in a school or similar setting
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Confidence supervising whole classes and following lesson plans
• An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• A professional, adaptable and dependable approach
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
