Are you looking for a full-time Year 1 Teacher role in Essex for the autumn term?

Moore Teachers are working with a primary academy in Harlow to appoint a committed Year 1 Teacher from the autumn term. This is a full-time class teaching position with full class responsibility, initially for the autumn term, with the potential for the role to extend into the spring term.

• Planning, teaching, assessment and wider classroom responsibilities

• Suitable for a teacher with strong Key Stage 1 experience and confidence supporting early learning, routines and progress

• Primary academy in Harlow, Essex

• Part of an established academy trust

• Mixed primary provision for children aged 4 to 11

• The school serves a diverse local community and is well placed for teachers seeking a primary teaching role in the Harlow area

• Publicly available information confirms the school s most recent Ofsted inspection took place in June 2023, with the school judged to require improvement at that time; this may suit a reflective and committed teacher who is confident contributing positively to a school on its improvement journey

• The role offers the opportunity to make a clear impact in Year 1 during an important stage of children s transition from EYFS into Key Stage 1

• QTS and experience teaching in Key Stage 1

• A secure understanding of the Year 1 curriculum

• Confidence taking full class responsibility from the start of the placement

• Strong classroom organisation and a warm, consistent approach

• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families

• Commitment for the full autumn term, with flexibility to continue into the spring term if required
