Pastoral Support Officer - Secondary School
Location: Enfield, North London
Salary: 110- 130 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time Long-term September Start

Tradewind Recruitment are looking for compassionate and proactive Pastoral Support Officers to join supportive secondary schools across Enfield.

This rewarding role is ideal for candidates with experience in education, youth work, mentoring, safeguarding or pastoral care who are committed to making a lasting difference in students' lives.

• Provide pastoral support to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff.
• Support attendance, punctuality and behaviour initiatives.
• Work with students experiencing social, emotional or behavioural challenges.
• Help develop strategies that promote wellbeing and engagement.
• Liaise with safeguarding, SEN and pastoral teams to provide targeted support.

• Experience working with young people in schools or similar settings.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• A calm, empathetic and resilient approach.
• Confidence managing challenging situations professionally.
• A genuine commitment to supporting students' personal development.
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures is desirable.
