Teaching Assistant – Chester

Key Responsibilities:

* Supporting and supervising educational activities, including sports and craft projects

* Assisting children with reading, literacy tasks, and developing communication skills

* Preparing classrooms and resources for lessons and activities

* Working with pupils in small groups or on a 1:1 basis, including those with additional needs

* Creating displays of children’s work to celebrate achievements

* Supporting teachers in behaviour management and classroom organisation

* Encouraging children's participation during school trips and group activities

* Listening to children read, telling stories, and providing extra support as needed

Requirements:

* Minimum of 3 months’ experience working with children in schools, nurseries, or similar settings

* References covering the last two years (with no gaps)

* Current DBS check on the update service or willingness to obtain one

* Right to work in the UK
