Contract: Full-Time | Fixed Term (2 Terms) | Potential to Become Permanent

Salary: £130 - £160 per day (dependent on experience)

Tradewind Recruitment is delighted to be working with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Wisbech that is seeking a dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join their KS1 team from September 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ambitious ECT looking to develop their career within a supportive school community.

The Role

As the successful Year 2 Teacher, you will:

Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 National Curriculum.

Inspire and motivate pupils to achieve their full potential.

Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.

Assess pupil progress and use data to inform future planning.

Support children's academic, social and emotional development.

Work closely with teaching assistants, parents and colleagues to ensure every child succeeds.

Contribute positively to the wider life of the school.

We Are Looking For

The successful candidate will have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Experience teaching within KS1, ideally Year 2.

Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.

Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum.

A creative and engaging teaching style.

High expectations for all pupils.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

A genuine passion for primary education.
