Secondary Cover Supervisor - Doncaster

Academics, an established Education Agency, are acting as an agency and are recruiting a Secondary Cover Supervisor to work on a temporary, flexible ongoing basis across a variety of welcoming secondary schools throughout Doncaster.

This Secondary Cover Supervisor role is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers or experienced classroom professionals looking to gain valuable experience within secondary education.

Position: Secondary Cover Supervisor
Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire
Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supply
Pay: 100 - 130 per day (paid via PAYE, no umbrella company fees, inclusive of holiday pay, dependent on experience, training, qualifications and client rate available)
Start Date: ASAP or a start date that works for you

About the Role

As a Secondary Cover Supervisor in Doncaster, you will supervise pre-planned lessons across KS3 and KS4 during teacher absences, ensuring pupils remain engaged and complete the work provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-set lesson materials
• Maintain positive classroom behaviour
• Support pupils during lessons

Candidate Requirements

• Degree or equivalent qualification preferred
• Experience working with young people desirable
• Confident classroom presence
• Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
