Academics, a leading education recruitment agency based in Stoke-on-Trent, is working in partnership with a large network of secondary schools across Staffordshire and Cheshire to recruit enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors for September starts.

Cover Supervisor - Role Information:

• Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher.
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials across a range of subjects.
• Maintain a positive learning environment and manage classroom behaviour effectively.
• Keep students engaged and focused throughout the lesson.
• Provide a brief handover to teaching staff at the end of each lesson.

Cover Supervisor - Applicant Requirements:

• A confident and professional classroom presence.
• The ability to manage behaviour effectively and build positive relationships with students.
• A minimum of two months' UK-based experience working with young people (e.g. in schools, coaching, tutoring, youth work, mentoring or similar settings).
• A reliable, adaptable and professional approach.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
