About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Multi-Trader to join our responsive repairs and maintenance team, working across our social housing portfolio. You'll carry out a variety of maintenance and repair works in occupied and void properties, helping to ensure residents' homes are safe, well-maintained, and completed to a high standard.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in delivering quality workmanship while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out responsive repairs, planned maintenance, and void property works.

Complete a range of trade tasks including:

Carpentry

Plumbing

Basic patch-plastering

Painting and decorating

Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently.

Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.

Maintain accurate job records using handheld devices or mobile apps.

Deliver excellent customer service when working in residents' homes.

Work independently while managing your daily workload.

Report any safeguarding, health and safety, or property concerns.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience as a Multi-Trader or Maintenance Operative.

Strong skills across several trades, with carpentry or plumbing as a core trade preferred.

Experience working within social housing, local authority, or residential maintenance is desirable.

Ability to work independently and solve problems effectively.

Good communication and customer service skills.

Full UK driving licence.

Ability to pass a DBS check (where required).

Desirable Qualifications

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in a relevant trade.

CSCS Card.

Asbestos Awareness.

Manual Handling.

Working at Height.

Health & Safety qualifications
