Location: Ealing, West London

Pay Range: £206.75 - £268.21

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent (September 2026 start)

ANZUK Education is working with a highly regarded independent junior school in West London seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join their thriving team from September 2026.

The successful candidate will be a passionate classroom practitioner who can inspire young learners and create a positive, inclusive classroom culture where children feel supported, challenged, and motivated to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the Year 2 curriculum.

* Foster a stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and confidence.

* Assess, track, and monitor pupil progress, providing timely feedback and appropriate interventions where needed.

* Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.

* Maintain high expectations for behaviour, attainment, and presentation.

* Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to curriculum planning and school initiatives.

* Build positive relationships with parents and carers to support pupils' learning and wellbeing.

* Contribute to the wider life of the school, including co-curricular activities and school events.

The Ideal Teacher Will:

* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

* Have experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2.

* Demonstrate excellent knowledge of the primary curriculum.

* Be an enthusiastic and reflective practitioner committed to high standards of teaching and learning.

* Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

* Be dedicated to supporting the holistic development of every child.

* Work effectively as part of a collaborative team.

* Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

The role is going to be from September to December with the potential to extend. The class has an experienced Teaching Assistant.
