Job Title: Domestic Gas Engineer
Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time

Location: Brockley & Canning Town
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 am - 5:00 pm
Hourly Rate: 24.00 - 26.00 per hour

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Domestic Gas Engineer to provide servicing and repairs for a local housing contract across Brockley and Canning Town.

Responsibilities:

• Covering Landlord Gas Safety Record (LGSR) visits to ensure gas compliance requirements are being met.
• Carrying out CP12 gas safety inspections within domestic properties.
• Inspecting, testing, and certifying domestic gas appliances, flues, and pipework in accordance with current legislation.
• Identifying and reporting unsafe appliances, installations, or defects, and taking appropriate action where required.
• Completing all gas safety certificates, compliance documentation, and electronic job records accurately and on time.
• Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with Gas Safe regulations, Health & Safety legislation, and company procedures.
• Providing a professional and customer-focused service to tenants, residents, and clients.
• Managing daily appointments and workloads to achieve compliance targets and service levels.

Requirements:

• Full UK Driving Licence (manual)
• CCN1 - Core Domestic Gas Safety
• CENWAT - Domestic Gas Central Heating, Boilers and Water Heaters
• CKR1 - Domestic Gas Cookers
• HTR1 - Domestic Gas Fires and Wall Heaters
