Setting Out Engineer – Major Infrastructure Project – Leicestershire

Our client, one of the UK's leading construction and infrastructure contractors, is seeking an experienced Setting Out Engineer to join their team on a significant, long-term civil engineering project in Leicestershire.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a high-profile development being delivered by a nationally recognised Tier 1 contractor with an outstanding reputation for delivering complex infrastructure schemes across the UK.

The Project

You will be joining a major infrastructure programme involving extensive civil engineering works, providing a secure and long-term opportunity within a collaborative and professional site team.

Responsibilities

* Setting out and surveying works in accordance with project requirements.

* Producing and maintaining accurate site records.

* Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy.

* Ensuring works are delivered in line with design specifications and quality standards.

* Liaising with site management, subcontractors and design teams.

* Assisting with quality assurance and health & safety procedures on site.

Requirements

* Previous experience working as a Setting Out Engineer on civil engineering or infrastructure projects.

* Proficient in the use of surveying equipment, including GPS and robotic total stations.

* Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

* Strong communication and organisational skills.

* Relevant engineering qualification preferred.

* CSCS card essential.
