We are currently recruiting for an experienced Setting Out Engineer to join a busy Groundworks and Civil Engineering project with an immediate start.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Groundworks Setting Out Engineer looking for work with a well-established contractor. A total station is already available on site, so there is no requirement to provide your own equipment.

Duties

• Setting out for groundworks and civil engineering works
• Reading and interpreting construction drawings
• Ensuring all work is completed accurately and to specification
• Working closely with the Site Manager and Groundworks team
• Carrying out quality checks and maintaining accurate setting out records
• Supporting the successful delivery of the project

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Setting Out Engineer
• Experience setting out Groundworks projects
• Ability to read and interpret engineering and construction drawings
• Checkable work references
• Valid photo ID to gain access to site
• Own PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
• Strong communication skills and a reliable work ethic
