Primary Teacher - Part Time - Hackney

Long Term Futures are recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join a welcoming Jewish faith primary school in Hackney from September 2026.

This is a unique part-time opportunity, working Monday to Thursday from 11:00am to 4:00pm, making it ideal for teachers seeking greater work-life balance while remaining in the classroom. There is also the opportunity to undertake a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) role on Fridays for candidates interested in additional hours.

The school is looking for an inspiring teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) who can deliver engaging lessons and contribute positively to a close-knit and supportive school community. Experience working within a faith school is desirable but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Primary National Curriculum

Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment

Assess, monitor and support pupil progress

Work closely with colleagues, parents and the wider school community

Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development

Opportunity to undertake HLTA responsibilities on Fridays

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential

Experience teaching within a UK primary school

Excellent classroom management and communication skills

A nurturing and engaging teaching style

Experience within a faith school (desirable)

Commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
