Job Description

We are currently looking for a Cleaner to work in Loughborough on a part-time contract for a well-established care home.

This is initially a 1-month assignment, with the potential to be extended. You'll be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for residents, staff and visitors.

I'd be keen to hear from anyone with experience in cleaning roles, whether you've previously worked as a Cleaner, Domestic Assistant, Housekeeper, Cleaning Operative, Facilities Operative, or in a similar position.

As a Cleaner, you will be:

Cleaning hallways, communal areas and shared spaces

Carrying out general cleaning duties throughout the care home

Completing litter picking and maintaining the external areas

Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard

Following health and safety procedures at all timesI'd love to speak to anyone who has:

A valid DBS check or is willing to undergo one 

Previous cleaning experience

Toe-cap boots (preferred, although these can be provided)

A reliable and hardworking attitude

The ability to work independently and efficientlyThis Cleaner role is offering the following benefits:

£60 per day

16 hours per week

Tuesday to Friday

8:30am–12:30pm (4-hour shifts)

Flexibility with working hours, although 4-hour blocks are preferred

All cleaning products and equipment provided

Immediate start available

This role is based at a care home in Loughborough, working Tuesday to Friday for a total of 16 hours per week.
