After School Tutor

Job Title: After School QTS Tutor - GCSE Core
Location: Buckinghamshire
Pay Rate: 25- 35 per hour
Job Type: Temporary Part-Time Flexible Hours

We are looking at for an After School Tutor who is passionate, confident and keen to make a difference in a young person's life. The successful candidate will have experience in either Maths or English tutoring up to GCSE level, they will be able to produce quality lessons, support the student, monitor progress and all around be the best that they can be for their student.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and curriculum- aligned tuition in Maths and English up to GCSE level.
• Plan and deliver personalised lessons that meet individual learning needs.
• Support students with a range of abilities, including those with additional learning needs.
• Monitor progress, set achievable targets, and provide constructive feedback.
• Foster a positive and motivating learning environment.

Requirements:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential.
• Experience teaching Maths and/or English at secondary GCSE level.
• Strong subject knowledge and abiity to adapt lessons to different learners.
• Enhanced DBS check ( or willingness to obtain one).
• Right to work in the UK.

Desired:

• Experience supporting students with SEN or SEMH needs.
• Background in tutoring or delivering targeted interventions.
