The Job People are looking for Fabricator Welders to join a busy manufacturing plant in Coventry.
The work is long term and can lead to a permanent contract after a qualifying period.
To manufacture, repair, modify and assemble metal components and structures using welding and fabrication techniques while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and productivity
Details of a Fabricator Welder in Coventry:
- Monday to Friday
- 8am till 4pm Monday to Thursday
- 8am till 2pm Friday
- 38 hours per week
- 21.12 per hour
- Overtime available
- Must be flexi to support business needs

- Must have previous experience and certification / qualification
As a Fabricator Welder, you would be required to:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and work instructions.
- Fabricate, assemble and weld components to required standards.
- Operate fabrication equipment including saws, drills, grinders, presses and welding equipment.
- Carry out MIG, TIG and Arc welding as required.
- Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
- Perform basic maintenance and care of welding and fabrication equipment.
- Follow health, safety and environmental procedures at all times.
- Support continuous improvement and TPM activities.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
- Work collaboratively with production, maintenance and engineering teams.
Role of a Fabricator Welder in Coventry:
- Strong welding and fabrication skills.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Good problem-solving and fault-finding ability.
- Attention to detail and quality standards.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload.
- Knowledge of MIG, TIG and Arc welding processes
- Understanding of fabrication techniques and metal properties.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relating to welding and fabrication.
- Understanding of quality inspection methods and measuring equipment.
- Awareness of TPM and continuous improvement principles.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and production environments
