Senior Practitioner / Complex Caseworker

Location: Ilford, Greater London
Rate: 37.08 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract: Full Time Temporary/Locum

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Practitioner / Complex Caseworker to join a service in Ilford, Greater London.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for a skilled practitioner to take responsibility for complex cases, provide specialist support, and contribute to the continuous improvement and development of the service.

You will play a key role in delivering high-quality outcomes for service users, using your professional expertise to manage challenging situations, provide guidance, and support effective service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a complex caseload and undertake high-quality assessments and interventions.
• Take responsibility for specific tasks, projects or areas of specialist practice.
• Provide professional advice, guidance and support to colleagues where required.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partner agencies.
• Ensure accurate recording, reporting and compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
• Contribute to service improvements, quality assurance and the development of best practice.
• Support positive outcomes for service users through effective case management and professional decision-making.

Essential Requirements

• Relevant professional qualification and significant post-qualification experience.
• Proven experience managing complex cases within a statutory or public sector environment.
• Strong assessment, analytical and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and partnership-working abilities.
• Ability to work independently, prioritise workload and manage competing demands.
• Commitment to delivering person-centred, high-quality services.
