SEND Teaching Assistant - Hertfordshire

Requirements:

• Experience supporting pupils with SEND or additional needs is essential
• A genuine passion for working with children and young people with additional needs
• Understanding of strategies to support pupils with a range of needs, including communication, learning, behavioural, or emotional needs
• Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills
• Commitment to promoting inclusion and supporting pupil development

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEND, helping them access learning and achieve their individual goals
• Work alongside teachers and the wider support team to deliver personalised support strategies
• Assist with classroom activities, learning tasks, and the development of pupil independence
• Support pupils' social, emotional, and academic development
• Promote a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment where all pupils can succeed
