Location: Chatham, Kent Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm Start Date: September 2026 Duration: Long-term position Pay: Competitive rates of pay

Are you a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity? We are currently recruiting for a Year 1 Teaching Assistant to join a supportive, welcoming, and friendly primary school in Chatham from September.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a nurturing school environment where staff are valued, teamwork is encouraged, and every child is supported to achieve their full potential.

? The Role:

Supporting pupils within a Year 1 classroom Working alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging learning activities Providing 1:1 and small group support where needed Encouraging positive behaviour and pupil development Helping to create a fun, safe, and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience working with children in a school setting A positive, patient, and proactive attitude Strong communication and teamwork skills A passion for supporting children's learning and development An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
