Wrap Around Care Assistant / Teaching Assistant

• Hourly Rate: £14.63
• Location: Carnforth Area
• Job Type: Part-time
• Hours: 18.75 per week (3.75 per day)

Join our team at a popular village primary school as a Wrap Around Care Assistant. This part-time position is perfect for those who enjoy working with children and providing a safe and nurturing environment for them outside of regular school hours. The role includes assisting with both the breakfast and after-school clubs.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Supervise children during the breakfast club from 7:30 AM to 8:45 AM and the after-school club from 3:15 PM to 5:45 PM.
• Assist in preparing and serving breakfast and afternoon snacks.
• Engage children in activities that are both fun and educational.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in attendance.
• Maintain a clean and organised environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents and school staff regarding children's activities and well-being.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience working with children in a supervisory or assistant role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to create a warm and safe environment for children.
• Enhanced DBS check (required).
• First aid certification (preferred).
