Tradewind Recruitment are working in partnership with a secondary to recruit a Sociology Teacher for a full-time, temporary position starting in September 2026.

This role has arisen due to staff absence and will involve teaching Sociology across Key Stages 3 and 4 and RE at KS3. The school is keen to appoint a confident and engaging teacher who can maintain continuity and high standards of learning during this period.

• Full-time teaching of Sociology up to A level

• Planning and delivering engaging, inclusive lessons

• Supporting pupils' personal development and academic progress

• Working collaboratively within a supportive department

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Experience teaching Sociology

• Strong classroom management skills

• Available to start immediately

• Open to early career teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers
