1:1 Teaching Assistant

Location: Chester, Cheshire

Salary: £95 - £105 per day

In this role, you will provide essential in-class support and deliver tailored SEN interventions to ensure every child has an inclusive environment to reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities of the 1:1 Teaching Assistant:

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with additional learning and behavioural needs.
• Implement structured intervention and SEN programmes to boost engagement and confidence.
• Work collaboratively with class teachers to adapt learning materials to suit the pupil's needs.
• Foster an inclusive, positive, and safe classroom environment in the Chester area.

What We Are Looking For:

• A dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant with a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
• Strong communication skills and a creative, patient approach to learning.
• Relevant background or qualifications in education and training (or a strong desire to develop in this sector).
• An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
