English Teacher

Remedy Education are looking for a confident and passionate English Teacher to join a supportive school based in North London.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an English Teacher who can deliver engaging lessons, support pupil progress and help students build confidence across reading, writing, analysis and communication. The school are looking for someone with strong subject knowledge, good behaviour management and the ability to create a positive learning environment.

Role Details:

Position: English Teacher

Location: North London

Pay: £230-£260 per day

Hours: Full-time

Start Date: ASAP / September

School Type: Secondary School

The Role:

As an English Teacher, you will:

* Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4

* Support pupils with reading, writing, comprehension and analysis

* Prepare students for GCSE English Language and Literature where required

* Adapt lessons to meet different abilities and learning needs

* Maintain strong classroom routines and positive behaviour expectations

* Use assessment to monitor progress and support pupil development

* Work closely with the English department and wider school team

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

* Qualified Teacher Status or strong relevant teaching experience

* Experience teaching English at secondary level

* Strong subject knowledge across English Language and Literature

* Good classroom and behaviour management skills

* A confident, organised and professional approach

* The ability to motivate and engage students

* A genuine passion for helping pupils succeed in English
