Contract: Full-Time Monday to Friday 8:15am - 3:00pm
Duration: Full Academic Year Potential to Become Permanent
Pay: per day (dependent on experience)

Empowering Learning are delighted to be working with a secondary school in Cardiff who are looking to appoint a passionate and dedicated QTS English Teacher to join their team from September.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic English specialist to become part of a supportive department, delivering engaging lessons and helping students develop their literacy, creativity and confidence. The role is available for the full academic year, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

You will be responsible for teaching English across KS3 and KS4, delivering high-quality lessons that inspire students and support their academic progress.

The successful candidate will be expected to create a positive and inclusive learning environment, encourage a love of English, and help students achieve their full potential.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4.
• Strong subject knowledge across English Language and Literature.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• The ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities.
• A genuine passion for English and a commitment to student success.

• Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
• Two professional references from recent employers.
• The right to work in the UK.
