Voids Surveyor

• Job Type: Temporary
• Rate: 43 per hour (Umbrella)

We are currently seeking a skilled Voids Surveyor to join the council on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in building studies and a deep understanding of building regulations and standards.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Conduct thorough building fault diagnosis and provide cost-effective solutions.
• Diagnose repairs, draw up specifications, and make technical decisions.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations, including CDM and Building Safety Compliance legislation.
• Stay updated with current building regulations and standards, applying this knowledge effectively in day-to-day tasks.
• Problem solve on-site issues effectively, ensuring all solutions adhere to the highest standards of safety and quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• BTEC ONC and HNC in Building Studies or substantial experience in a similar role.
• Evidence of continual professional development training in construction and health and safety-related disciplines.
• Up-to-date knowledge of current building regulations and building standards.
• Significant experience in building fault diagnosis and providing cost-effective solutions.
• Fully conversant with Health & Safety regulations, including CDM, Building Safety Compliance legislation, and Building Regulations.
• Ability to diagnose repairs, draw up specifications, make technical decisions, and problem solve.
