Isolation Room Manager

Location: Boston
Salary: £110 £130 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP / September 2026
Contract Type: Full-time Long-term

GSL Education is seeking a confident and proactive Isolation Room Manager to join a welcoming secondary school in Boston. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced behaviour support professional who is passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning while maintaining high standards of behaviour and wellbeing.

Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team and pastoral staff, you will oversee the school's isolation provision, ensuring students receive appropriate support, complete their learning, and are successfully reintegrated into mainstream lessons.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day running of the school's Isolation Room
• Support students in maintaining a calm, focused, and productive learning environment
• Reinforce the school's behaviour expectations and values consistently and fairly
• Build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents to support behaviour improvement
• Monitor student engagement, attendance, and behaviour within the provision
• Use positive behaviour management and de-escalation strategies to resolve challenging situations

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Experience working with children or young people, preferably within a school or educational setting (essential)
• Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
• The ability to remain calm, resilient, and professional under pressure
• A relevant qualification or professional training in behaviour management, education, or youth work (desirable)
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
