Supply Teaching Assistant - Primary Schools Across Sheffield

Flexible Supply Work | Minimum 3 Days Per Week | Full-Time Opportunities Available

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking experienced Teaching Assistants to join our growing team, supporting a wide range of primary schools throughout Sheffield. If you're passionate about helping children thrive and enjoy the variety that supply work offers, we'd love to hear from you.

Working on a supply basis means no two weeks are the same. You'll have the opportunity to work in a variety of school settings, providing valuable support wherever it's needed. This may include assisting pupils with SEND, delivering small group interventions, or supporting teachers with day-to-day classroom activities during staff absence.

We ask that applicants have previous experience working in a school environment and are available for at least three days each week. While a Teaching Assistant qualification is beneficial, it isn't essential if you have relevant classroom experience.

Your Responsibilities

Providing classroom support across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

Working with children on an individual basis and in small groups.

Supporting pupils with a range of additional learning needs and SEND.

Helping to create a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment.

Stepping into schools to provide high-quality support during planned and unplanned staff absences.

What We're Looking For

Experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a primary school.

A positive, proactive and adaptable approach.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

A Teaching Assistant qualification is welcomed but not essential.

Availability to work a minimum of three days per week.
