Job Description

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, levelling, and applying necessary adhesives or primers to ensure proper tile adhesion.
• Measure and mark layout lines according to schematics and project specifications to guarantee accurate tile placement.
• Cut tiles precisely using hand tools or power tools to fit around obstacles, edges, or irregular spaces.
• Lay tiles on walls and floors, ensuring alignment and levelness for a professional finish.
• Grout, seal, and finish tiled surfaces to enhance durability and aesthetic appeal.
• Maintain a clean workspace by clearing debris and ensuring all tools are stored safely after use.
• Follow health and safety regulations at all times, including the proper handling of tools and materials.

Experience

• Proven experience in tiling, preferably with residential or commercial projects.
• Construction experience is highly desirable, with knowledge of building processes and safety standards.
• Proficiency in using hand tools such as trowels, chisels, cutters, as well as power tools like drills and saws.
• Familiarity with schematics, technical drawings, or blueprints to guide installation work.
• CSCS CARD not required
• CIS or Umbrella Paye as payment options
• Ability to interpret technical instructions accurately and work independently or as part of a team.
